The PAIC project (Promoting Artificial Intelligence Competences in VET) concluded with an international Final Project Conference, hosted at the Šiauliai Vocational Training Centre. The event brought together project partners from Lithuania, Italy and Greece, along with educators, stakeholders and experts, to reflect on two years of collaboration and share the project’s key results.

The conference served as a platform to present practical examples of how Artificial Intelligence tools can modernise vocational education and training. Project partners showcased training methodologies developed and tested during PAIC, highlighting how AI competences can be effectively integrated into VET curricula through hands-on, learner-centred approaches.

Presentations focused on real classroom applications of AI, covering areas such as digital marketing, communication automation and vocational problem-solving. Participants were introduced to the project’s core outputs, including the PAIC curriculum, Virtual Living Labs methodology and the online learning platform, all designed to support accessible and practice-oriented AI education.

A special contribution was provided by guest expert Domantas Širvinskas, who presented real-world AI use cases from the business sector. His input helped bridge the gap between education and industry, illustrating how AI solutions are already shaping professional environments and highlighting the importance of preparing learners for evolving labour market demands.

The conference also offered space for discussion and exchange, enabling participants to reflect on challenges, lessons learned and future opportunities for advancing digital transformation in VET. By bringing together diverse perspectives from education and practice, the event reinforced the value of European cooperation in strengthening AI competences among both learners and teachers.

The Final Project Conference marked an important milestone for PAIC, summarising the outcomes of two years of international work and setting the foundation for the continued use and dissemination of project results through the PAIC platform and partner networks.
