The PAIC project (Promoting Artificial Intelligence Competences in VET) has reached an important milestone with the successful finalisation and publication of the PAIC curriculum. After months of intensive collaboration, the curriculum has been completed, translated into five partner languages, and made publicly available through the official project website.

The PAIC curriculum was developed through close cooperation among all project partners, bringing together expertise in vocational education and training, digital innovation, and real-world industry practice. This collaborative approach ensured that the curriculum responds to the actual needs of VET learners and educators while remaining aligned with current European priorities in digital education and skills development.

The curriculum consists of eight comprehensive modules addressing key aspects of Artificial Intelligence. These include foundational AI concepts, practical applications relevant to vocational contexts, ethical and societal considerations, and future trends related to AI-driven workplaces. Each module was carefully designed to balance theoretical understanding with practical relevance, supporting learners in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital competences essential for today’s labour market.

Following the completion of content development and quality review, the curriculum was translated into all partner languages to ensure accessibility and inclusivity across diverse European educational settings. Particular attention was given to the accurate translation of technical terminology, ensuring clarity and consistency across all language versions.

By making the PAIC curriculum openly accessible, the project contributes to the broader goal of strengthening AI competences in vocational education and training across Europe. Educators, trainers, and learners are now able to download and integrate the curriculum into their teaching and learning practices, supporting the effective introduction of Artificial Intelligence education in VET systems.

The publication of the curriculum represents a significant step forward in the PAIC project’s mission to prepare learners for the challenges and opportunities of a technology-driven future. Further project activities will focus on piloting, dissemination, and the continued use of the curriculum through the PAIC learning platform and partner networks.
