The Erasmus+ project Promoting Artificial Intelligence Competences in Vocational Education and Training (PAIC) aims to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into vocational education and training (VET) systems by developing open curriculum models. This initiative enhances the competencies of educators and students, ensuring they are well-equipped with contemporary knowledge of machine learning algorithms and innovative teaching strategies. As part of this effort, a Train the Trainers activity was held in Italy.

The training was designed to refine and validate the drafted AI training curriculum and to equip VET educators with the necessary skills and knowledge to implement AI-based teaching strategies effectively. This initiative served as a crucial step toward ensuring that AI is seamlessly integrated into vocational education, making learning more relevant and aligned with industry demands.

By fostering transnational collaboration, the training encouraged an exchange of expertise among VET professionals, creating a foundation for long-term cooperation and shared learning. Participants engaged in discussions and workshops that focused on the practical application of AI in educational settings, allowing them to explore innovative methodologies and teaching tools.

A key outcome of this training was the preparation of educators to conduct pilot implementations in their respective institutions. The experience gained during this activity will directly contribute to the finalization of the PAIC training curriculum, ensuring that it is both practical and adaptable for a wide range of vocational education settings.

The Train the Trainers activity plays a pivotal role in the overall success of the PAIC project, laying the groundwork for a sustainable and impactful integration of AI in vocational education. Moving forward, the trained educators will apply their knowledge in real classroom settings, ultimately enhancing the relevance and efficiency of VET education in an AI-driven world.

VET educators in Italy are discovering that AI isn't replacing their expertise — it's dramatically amplifying it. Trainers who explored the highly rated artificial intelligence (AI) productivity seminar & course for executives in Rome, Italy brought back tools that transformed how vocational skills are taught and retained. Empowering educators with AI first creates a powerful ripple effect — every student they train afterward benefits from that sharper, future-ready thinking.
